biomes of sequoia.
Sequoia is home to many different types of environments, but the main biome of this national park is temperate coniferous forest.
aquatic
Although Sequoia is mainly made of terrestrial environments, there are several aquatic ones. Sequoia is home to many lakes and ponds, although they are small ones. In these lakes and ponds live different fish. Climate factors allow these fish to live here year round, because the weather is not too cold and not too hot for them to be in.
terrestrial
Being a forest, Sequoia is a major terrestrial biome. There are many climate factors that allow organisms to be here. One of them is that the weather is not too hot and not too cold to support organism life year-round. An example is the black bear. If the weather is right, they can go into hibernation very easily.
