food web

To start off, a food web is a diagram that shows every possible way that energy can flow within organisms in a community, ecosystem, biome, etc.

In this food web, the organisms featured are:

  • Sage brush (Autotroph, producer)

  • Grass (Autotroph, producer)

  • Porcupine (Heterotroph, herbivore)

  • Rabbit (Heterotroph, herbivore)

  • Mountain lion (Heterotroph, carnivore)

  • Black bear (Heterotroph, carnivore)

  • Mushroom (Heterotroph, decomposer)

A part that is cut off at the bottom is the sun, which is the main source of energy for every organism.
